Bangladesh Bank appoints new executive director

Bangladesh Bank appointed Sheikh Mozaffar Hossain has as the executive director, according to a press release issued on Sunday. Mozaffar joined Bangladesh Bank in 1988 as an assistant director. In his career in the Bangladesh Bank, he worked in Agricultural Credit, Foreign Exchange Policy and Financial Institutions, Monetary Policy and Banking Inspection departments. Previously he worked in BIBM and Bangladesh BBTA as faculty member. His research works on Financial Inclusion; International Financial Regulations; On-site Supervision; and corporate governance have been published as research monographs.
