FBCCI’s Sheikh Fazle Fahim attends Gujarat summit

Fahim led a five-member Bangladeshi business delegation, where he gave a presentation on 'Political and Economic Development of Bangladesh from 2009-2018' and 'Vision 2041 of FBCCI' on Sunday

Sheikh Fazle Fahim, senior vice president of the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industries (FBCCI), recently attended the “Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2019” held in India, according to a press release.

Organized by Gujarat’s provincial government, it was inaugurated by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on January 18.

Fahim led a five-member Bangladeshi business delegation, where he gave a presentation on “Political and Economic Development of Bangladesh from 2009-2018” and “Vision 2041 of FBCCI” on Sunday.

In his presentation, he highlighted the significant transformation of Bangladesh into a technology and knowledge based economy with over 7.68% GDP growth.

Sheikh Fahim also mentioned about the mega development projects of the country which are being implemented for creating an enabling investment environment and developing and efficient industrial eco system. 

The FBCCI leader also briefed about the private sectors role in the fast growing development process of Bangladesh.
