Coronavirus: Guardian Life launches online claim settlement

Customers now can receive the service using mobile, laptop or desktop anytime, from anywhere

Guardian life is all set to launch ‘online claim submission’ (OCS) platform to help its customers avail submit ‘Life’ and ‘Medical’ claims amid countrywide lockdown due to coronavirus pandemic.

The customers now can receive the service using mobile, laptop or desktop anytime, from anywhere, said a press release.

 Later, the claims will be evaluated and paid via online payment channels, it mentioned.

“This is a first for the insurance industry in Bangladesh that a life insurance company adopted secured digital solution for end-to-end claim settlement. Our customers will be able to receive claim payouts from their homes now,” said MM Monirul Alam, managing director and chief executive officer of the Guardian Life.

“We are committed to deliver our services to the customers under any circumstances,” he added.

The corporate customers will be able to log into the OCS directly (http://ocs.myguardianbd.com/) or from MyGuardian Portal (http://myguardianbd.com/) or MyGuardian App (https://bit.ly/2RPyPd2) or evenGuardian Life corporate website (www.guardianlife.com.bd) and can avail the facility, the release mentioned.

By end of May’2020, Individual Policyholders will also come under the scope of this platform, it said.

Guardian Life is also selling life insurance policies online through its EasyLife App and Website where customers can buy the policies within just 15 minutes.
