The long-term rating A1 indicates the bank’s strong capacity to meet financial commitments and obligations
The Credit Rating Agency of Bangladesh (CRAB) has upgraded the rating of Modhumoti Bank Limited from “A2” to “A1” until June 30 next year, based on the financial statements of the bank published on December 31 last year.
The long-term rating “A1” indicates the bank’s strong capacity to meet financial commitments and obligations.
Additionally, during the short-term rating, Modhumoti Bank was awarded the “ST-2”, signifying the bank’s punctuality in terms of the repayment of obligations, according to a press release.
With a well-built foundation that supports its liquidity base and internal fund generation capacity, the bank also possesses access to alternative sources for organizing funds, as a means to seize a commendable position, the release adds.
