From September 1-9, food lovers can experience seven types of Biryanis of Bangladesh with The Westin Dhaka

The Westin Dhaka is set to present an exciting culinary exhibition of flavorful biryanis at its Seasonal Tastes restaurant.

From September 1-9, food lovers can experience seven types of Bangladeshi biryanis, titled "Biryanis of Bangladesh" with The Westin Dhaka, said a press release.

There will be Kacchi Biryani, Morog Pulao, Ilish Polao, also known as Hilsha Polao - an aromatic and flavorful Bengali-style fish pilaf, Beef Teheri, exclusively prepared with beef authentically will be cooked with mustard oil and small potatoes, as well as Akhni Biryani, a Chittagong special dish which is rarely found in Dhaka but this time you can experience this traditional biryani at The Westin Dhaka.

Prawn Biryani will also be available, which will be layering rice with a yogurt sauce and spice-marinated shrimps.

Despite the simplicities, all biryani dishes are so flavorful that it will make the meal of Seasonal Taste exceptional.

Biryani, whilst not unique to Bangladesh, will be made authentically with special spices, meat or fish, rice, potatoes at your own choice.

Bangladeshi biryani is often considered the best in the world and therefore Mutton Bhuna Khichuri and many more will be on your table, which will give you a mouthwatering experience with its wonderful fragrance, flavour and taste.

The exclusive buffet dinner spread is priced at Tk6,500 net per person, while guests can avail Buy One Get One (B1G1) offers by using credit and debit cards from several partnering banks throughout the festival.

Due to the current situation and as per government directives, the restaurant capacity is reduced to 50% seating to ensure social distancing and hence prior reservations are a must to avoid disappointment.
