HSBC collaborates with IUB to assist students' international education journey

The Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation (HSBC) in Bangladesh and Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB), one of the leading private universities in the country, are entering into a collaboration to assist students planning for overseas education through HSBC’s International Education services, according to a press release.

HSBC’s International Education is a comprehensive proposition catering to the overseas education needs of Bangladeshi students. 

From the initial requirements of preparing a student file and facilitating payments to opening an overseas account with HSBC in top education destinations.

Students, alumni and faculty members of IUB will be facilitated with different benefits for pursuing their overseas education ambitions. 

HSBC will also offer exclusive sessions on higher education overseas for IUB through this MoU signed recently.

IUB’s Pro Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dr Niaz Ahmed Khan (Acting Vice-Chancellor) was present during the Zoom-based MoU signing ceremony. 

Among others, Khandker Md. Iftekhar Haider, treasurer; Kazi Md. Husamuddin, director of the finance and accounts department; and Jyotishi Das, deputy director of the finance and accounts department were present from IUB along with representatives from HSBC.
