From now on, different types of government fees including passport fees can be deposited in all branches of Exim Bank
An agreement was signed between Bangladesh Bank and Exim Bank for collecting government treasury through Automated Challan System (ACS).
The signing ceremony was held in a program at Jahangir Alam Conference Hall, Bangladesh Bank on September 20.
Deputy Governor of Bangladesh Bank, Ahmed Jamal was present as chief guest where Nurun Nahar, executive director, Bangladesh Bank presided over the program. Forkan Hossain, general manager of Accounts and Budgeting Department, Bangladesh Bank and Mohammad Feroz Hossain, managing director (CC), Exim Bank signed the agreement respectively on behalf of their organizations.
Shah Md Abdul Bari, deputy managing director of Exim Bank; Sanjib Chatterjee, vice president and head of Marketing and Development Division and some other officials of both organizations were present in the signing ceremony.
From now on, different types of government fees including passport fees can be deposited in all branches of Exim Bank through this agreement.
