Bangladesh General Insurance Company Ltd’s Q2 (April-June) earnings rose by 71.15%.
In a filing with Dhaka Stock Exchange on Monday, the insurance company said that its earnings per share (EPS) was Tk0.89 for April-June 2021 as against Tk0.52 for the same period of the previous year.
During the first six months of 2021, its EPS was Tk1.58 as against Tk0.92 for the first six months of 2020.
Meanwhile, its net asset value (NAV) per share was Tk21.09 as of June 30, 2021, and Tk19.38 as of June 30, 2020.
Bangladesh General Insurance Company last offered a 12% cash dividend back in the year 2020. The closing price of each of its shares during Monday’s trade was Tk51.7.
