9 mutual funds declare dividends

Asian Tiger Sandhani Life Growth Fund declared the maximum 15% cash dividend to its unitholders

Nine mutual funds declared cash dividends, ranging from 4%-15%, in separate filings with the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) on Thursday. 

The dividends were declared for the year ended on June 30, 2021.

The funds are Asian Tiger Sandhani Life Growth Fund; ICB AMCL First Agrani Bank Mutual Fund; Phoenix Finance 1st Mutual Fund; ICB AMCL Sonali Bank Limited 1st Mutual Fund; Prime Bank 1st ICB AMCL Mutual Fund; ICB Employees Provident MF 1: Scheme 1; ICB AMCL Second Mutual Fund; IFIL Islamic Mutual Fund-1; and ICB AMCL Third NRB Mutual Fund.

Asian Tiger Sandhani Life Growth Fund declared the maximum 15% cash dividend to its unitholders. In its filing, the fund reported earnings per unit (EPU) of Tk1.93 for the year ended on June 30, 2021, against Tk1.69 in the negative for the same period of the previous year.

ICB AMCL First Agrani Bank Mutual Fund approved a 7% cash dividend. The fund reported an EPU of Tk0.68 for the year ended on June 30, 2021, against Tk0.34 for the same period of the previous year.

Meanwhile, Phoenix Finance 1st Mutual Fund declared a 6% cash dividend. Its EPU was Tk0.32 for the year ended on June 30, 2021, against Tk0.26 for the same period of the previous year.

ICB AMCL Sonali Bank Limited 1st Mutual Fund approved a 7% cash dividend, reporting an EPU of Tk0.53 for the year ended on June 30, 2021, against Tk0.41 for the same period of 2020.

Prime Bank 1st ICB AMCL Mutual Fund declared a 7.5% cash dividend, and it reported an EPU of Tk0.47 for the year ended on June 30, 2021, against Tk0.31 for the same period of the previous year.

The ICB Employees Provident MF 1: Scheme 1 declared a 6% cash dividend. The fund reported an EPU of Tk0.41 for the year ended on June 30, 2021, against Tk0.20 for the same period of the previous year.

ICB AMCL Second Mutual Fund declared an 8% cash dividend. The fund reported an EPU of Tk0.37 for the year ended on June 30, 2021, against Tk0.30 for the same period of the previous year.

IFIL Islamic Mutual Fund-1 offered the least 4% cash dividend to its unitholders. The fund reported an EPU of Tk0.31 for the year ended on June 30, 2021, against Tk0.22 for the same period of the previous year.

Finally, ICB AMCL Third NRB Mutual Fund approved a 7% cash dividend. The fund reported an EPU of Tk0.52 for the year ended on June 30, 2021, against Tk0.24 for the same period of the previous year.
