LankaBangla Finance witnesses massive rise in Q2 earnings

LankaBangla Finance Ltd has witnessed a massive 2900% increase in its Q2 (April-June) earnings. 

In a filing with Dhaka Stock Exchange on Thursday, the company said that its consolidated earnings per share (EPS) was Tk0.30 for the Q2 of 2021 as against Tk0.01 for the same period of the previous year.

Meanwhile, its consolidated net asset value (NAV) per share stood at Tk18.24 as of June 30, 2021, and Tk18.73 as of June 30, 2020. 

Back in the year 2020, LankaBangla Finance offered a 12% cash dividend to its shareholders. The closing price for each of its shares was TK39.1 during Thursday’s session.
