Kazi IT to hold career boot camp on November 11
North America-based Kazi IT Centre Ltd (KITC) is set to organise a career boot camp in Dhaka on November 11. Registration to participate at the camp is still on-going. According to a press release, the event, organised in collaboration with the ICT Division and the Leveraging ICT for Growth, Employment and Governance (LICT) project, will be held at the Hall of Fame at Bangabandhu International Conference Center (BICC). Those unable to attend at the venue can participate through the KITC Facebook page. The boot camp will include a variety of training sessions and activities, including speeches by corporate trainers, industry leaders, career consultants and various high officials of the government. Participants will get a chance to demonstrate what they have learned with a presentation at the end of the event. FutureLeaders Lead Consultant and CEO Quazi M Ahmed, Don Sumdany Facilitation and Consultancy Chief Inspirational Officer G Sumdany Don, 10 Minute School Founder and CEO Ayman Sadiq, Corporate Coach Chief Consultant Jishu Tarafder and customer service and business communications trainer Rushdina Khan will be among the speakers. Speaking at a thought sharing session with the media on Wednesday, KITC CEO Mike Kazi said they would recruit people at the boot camp and there was no cap on the number who would be accepted. The company is currently looking to hire business development analysts, team leaders, assistant managers and managers for three of its branches- in Nikunjo, Dhanmondi and Rajshahi. “We have already initiated plans to convert the educated yet unemployed youths of Bangladesh in to assets,” the KITC CEO said, adding that participants should take notes for the presentation. Aspiring participants can register to attend the event for free at this link. The link is also available on the KITC Facebook page, and only 6,000 applicants will be invited. The last date of registration is November 8. The KITC headquarters is located about 97km away from Los Angeles, California. The company aims to make a variety of tasks, such as administrative duties, ecommerce integration, reporting, research and surveillance, easier through the use of modern technology.
