Kazi IT Centre Ltd organised the largest job fair in Bangladesh that was attended by around 6,000 job seekers coming from all around the country.
The fair, titled Career Boot Camp 2017, was held at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre in Dhaka on Saturday, according to a press release.
State Minister for Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Zunaid Ahmed Palak was the chief guest at the closing session and handed over appointment letters to 20 participants recruited from the boot camp.
Several discussions and grooming sessions took place at the fair, including "Building Confidence and Positivity for Success at Workplace" conducted by Lead Consultant and CEO of FutureLeaders Quazi M Ahmed, and "Professional Grooming for Dream Career" by Founder and CEO of 10 Minute School Ayman Sadiq.
Bangladesh Association of Call Centre and Outsourcing (BACCO) President Wahid Sharif and Bangladesh Open Source Network (BdOSN) General Secretary Munir Hasan attended the closing ceremony as well.
The event was organised by North America-based Kazi IT Centre Ltd (KITC) in collaboration with Leveraging ICT for Growth, Employment & Governance (LICT) Project of the ICT Division.
