Industries minister’s Facebook profile hacked

Industries Minister Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun’s Facebook profile was reportedly hacked on Sunday.

Police sources said Atiqul Islam, the operator of the minister’s profile, filed a general diary (GD) with Gulshan police station in this regard on Monday.

According to the GD statement, on Sunday, the industries minister’s Facebook profile was hacked. Until the profile is recovered, the minister will not be accountable for any information published through this profile since Sunday, the GD said.

Gulshan police station Inspector (Investigation) Mahbub Hossain confirmed the matter, saying: “The matter is being investigated with assistance from the cyber crime unit.”
