A panel of heroes at the Cosmic tent
A lively discussion about everyday heroes and villains brought down the Cosmic Tent on Day 2 of DLF. Featuring comic creator Sabyasachi Chakma and Samir Asran Rahman, Creative Director of Mighty Punch Studio, the panel was moderated by feature writer and playwright Rumana Habib.

The panelists talked about the characters in their comics, the inspiration behind the stories, and the creative process. While Samir wowed with his animated trailers from his Ms Shabash series, Sabyasachi had the audience in stitches discussing the gags in his comic series Tej.

The discussion ended with a Q/A session with the audience about the social responsibility of graphic storytelling media. “You don’t have to have superpowers to be a hero” said Sabyasachi Chakma. “Find your dream, follow it and try to make your surroundings a better place to be in.”
