Watch: Bob Dylan's performance at Concert for Bangladesh 1971

[youtube id="rJpnfL3DQmU"] Bob Dylan, the legendary American folk musician, performed along with fellow artists George Harrison, Eric Clapton, Ravi Shankar, Leon Russell, Ringo Starr, Billy Preston, Ali Akbar Khan and Alla Rakha at the New York's Madison Square Garden on August 1, 1971 in aid of the displaced refugees of the Bangladesh Liberation War, and set the model for future multi-artist rock benefits concert. Dylan, who made on-stage comeback with the event after a two-year break, was handpicked by George Harrison, the show’s organiser, as the latter described later that he knew Dylan on the performers’ list would guarantee sell-outs.
