
Apple recently announced their brand new MacBook Pro with the cool new Touch Bar. With the touch bar, Microsoft Excel can show controls that let you quickly change the background colour of a cell or add a chart when a bunch of cells is selected. The company also announced a variant of the smaller 13-inch standard model without the Touch Bar.
Here are the few specifications of the devices that you may also want to know.
Hardware

It’s obvious that the Touch Bar model gets more lucrative hardware than the standard one.
Touch Bar model gets a 2.9GHz dual-core Core i5, while the standard model gets a 2.0GHz dual-core Core i5. Their boost clock speeds are 3.3GHz and 3.1 GHz. The Touch Bar model way faster than the standard one. Both models get 256GB base storage but since Apple doesn’t mention the speeds (claimed speeds are for the 512GB storage).
The Touch Bar model gets four Thunderbolt ports, while the standard model gets just two. Both models can be upgraded with 16GB RAM and 1TB storage. Touch Bar model can be upgraded up to 3.3GHz dual-core Core i7, while the standard model only up to 2.4GHz dual-core Core i7.
RAM and Graphics

According to the Apple specs page, the standard model has 8GB, 1866MHz LPDDR3 memory while the Touch Bar model has 8GB, 2133MHz LPDDR3 memory. The 16GB upgrade options for both models have 2133MHz and 1866MHz speeds, respectively.
Graphics quality is also different. The standard model has an Intel Iris Graphics 540 and the Touch Bar model has an Intel Iris Graphics 550.
Price
You can buy the standard model at $1,499 (about Tk118,150). The touch bar model will cost you $1,799 (about Tk141,795)
