Casper Foundation’s network is a great place for students, individuals, academics, professionals and corporations to come together to create positive changes in our community.Casper Foundation organised a workshop on “Ideation and Project Planning” at Six Seasons Hotel on July 22. The participants were volunteers of Casper Chapters from five universities around Dhaka. The workshop was sponsored by Paradise Cables Limited and East Coast Group. The exclusive media partners of the event was Dhaka Tribune and Radio Foorti 88.0FM.
This workshop was designed to provide the participants with knowledge and information on idea generation, developing needs assessment and project planning. The purpose of the workshop was to make Casper teams understand the cognitive and practical aspects of how ideation works and use various creative and effective ideation techniques which was done in three sessions. The trainer discussed about related and possible factors to consider before planning a project with examples in the first session. The second session was more interactive where students explained their individual projects to the audiences as well as asked for questions related to their projects. After that, there was a break for refreshments and students availed the opportunity to network with corporate partners and trainers. The workshop ended with the last session where the trainer explained further about how to come up with innovative and sustainable ideas for social development.
