Complete Qurbani and Live Cattle Delivery – with these two services Bengal Meat has launched its Online Qurbani Haat for the third year in a row. The highlight of this year is the sale of farm cattle that have been fed natural feed, health checked by registered veterinarians, and rearing management by animal husbandry experts with minimum three months to one year at the feedlot. This will allow consumers to have steroid, anti-biotic, and disease free healthy cattle for the Qurbani sacrifice.
Customers can buy live cattle or can have Qurbani full service online from the Bengal Meat site (www.bengalmeat.com/qurbani). Live cattle will be delivered to the customer’s home with a delivery charge, delivery starts 5 days before Qurbani and will continue until 2 days before Eid.
The full service offer entails slaughter, cutting of the meat as per food safety standards of the company, packing the cut meat in categorised portions in food grade packaging, and delivery to customer’s home on the second day of the Qurbani Eid. Live cattle are available for Dhaka, Chittagong, and Sylhet city areas and the full service will only be catered to Dhaka city. Online Haat sales will close on 26 August or earlier depending on stock. Bengal Meat is the only internationally certified abattoir in Bangladesh with Halal compliance met by the Islamic Foundation Bangladesh and JAKIM of Malaysia. The slaughters are monitored by dedicated personnel from the Islamic Foundation Bangladesh to ensure that the necessary steps in sacrificing animals are followed. Bengal Meat plans to provide the same service for expats in the near future.
