‘Unoponchash Batash' releases first poster

Dhaka Tribune’s Showtime asked the director about the new poster and he replied: I wrote a poem back in 2003/4. I’ve just visually translated this poem for the poster of my film ‘Unoponchash Batash'

Famous Bangladeshi television director and musician Masud Hasan Ujjal’s debut film “Unoponchash Batash” has released the first official poster on his Facebook profile on Monday. The poster features the film's lead casts in a fantasy like tone where Sharlin Farzana is lying in a suitcase and Imtiaz Barshan is behind her wearing a tuxedo. Both of them are on top of a hill with dark clouds above them.

Dhaka Tribune’s Showtime asked the director about the new poster and he replied: “I wrote a poem back in 2003/4- ‘Where have all the angels gone! No horizon, thoughts are vertically a headed! Spiritual conversation with this Recycled Flamenco makes me a truthful friend of laughter, wishing to be there, where the angels are gone forever!’ I’ve just visually translated this poem for the poster of my film ‘Unoponchash Batash.’”

When asked about the release date of the film he said: “We are hoping to release it by December this year or in case of any political unrest due to the upcoming election we’ll release the film on February 14 next year.”

The storyline of the film still kept a mystery to the audience and already have gained a lot of attention among the film enthusiastic community of the country for the past year. Even the new surreal poster has gained traction among the netizens of Bangladesh and has created a buzz where everyone is writing individual explanations about the new poster.

The film is being produced by Asif Hanif under Ujjal’s own label, Red October. The Executive Producer of the film is Syeda Shaon.
