In the making- Ananta’s ‘Din- The Day’

The actor/producer has signed a contract with the film’s director, Iranian film-maker Murtaza Otash Jamjam, at Tehran’s Espinas Palace hotel last Tuesday, according to a recent press release by Ananta

Bangladeshi superstar Ananta Jalil’s upcoming film "Din- The Day," a Bangladesh - Iran co-production will start its production phase from December. 

The actor/producer has signed a contract with the film’s director, Iranian film-maker Murtaza Otash Jamjam, at Tehran’s Espinas Palace hotel last Tuesday, according to a recent press release by Ananta.

The film will be co-directed by another Bangladeshi film-maker. It will be shot in Bangla but dubbed in Farsi, Arabic, and English for worldwide theatrical release. 

The film will star Ananta himself and wife, Afiea Nusrat Barsha, newcomer hero Sumon Faruk, and many other top celebs from Lebanon and Iran.

Ananta Jalil, Sumon Faruk, Iranian Cultural Center Dhaka’s former councillor Syed Hussaini, Dhaka University Farsi Language and Culture Department Assistant Professor Mumit Al Rashid were present during the signing ceremony at Tehran, Iran.

The press release also stated that the film will be shot in different locations of Iran, Bangladesh, Lebanon, and Syria. The action thriller film will showcase the destruction of terrorist organization ISIS in these Muslim states and also uphold the true values of peace in Islam.  

Ananta has been on a hiatus from acting since his 2014 hit "Most Welcome 2."
