“Emerald Restaurants” is a blend of multiple cuisines and ideas, we truly admire and I’m glad to be the partner in this company where we work to make our visions come to reality. This is Ayeman Ibne  Amin and let’s walk you through our story today.

We started our journey in this industry in 2012 with our first restaurant venture “Thai Emerald”. Dining outside often and undying love for food has been our mutual interest where we shared our ideas and love as a family. We always loved Thai food and through this process of exploring the cuisine more and more, we thought of starting our own restaurant, “Thai Emerald”.  Having to complete my studies in Thailand, I often travelled through the country which made me fall in love with their food and culture even more. It brings us true gratitude, to have started with Thai Emerald and coming all the way to creating 8 individual brands of restaurants followed by 13 outlets now. This is our family business, where each one of us has our utmost contributions without which the journey would not have been so delightful.

My mother being my greatest inspiration took the risk of stepping and investing in the industry which we initially had completely no idea about. We only believed we could, so we worked day and night to put our marks on. Our main idea was to serve authentic food, provide a  nice and cozy ambianceat a good price point. Truly our beloved patrons never failed to shower us with love and support for which we are where we are today.

The journey is a bitter-sweet experience, and having said that we believe nothing comes easy. We have faced numerous challenges. The biggest challenge was the initial set up of a restaurant, the kitchen itself, managing staffs and so much more. We are happy and thankful to our employees who have been our constant support in the building process. Our staff members are no less than a family to us. Their constant dedication is so inspiring and we only want to continue seeing them grow in the process.

We wanted to build something that we believe in and in all our restaurants we tried our best to visualize our belief and idea, serving our customers to the best and working on their desires which we call our priority.

The Covid-19 pandemic has been a big blow for the entire world. And our company was no exception. Having to take care of 350 members of our Emerald family when our stores located in locations with high rents was quite heavy on us. Nevertheless, we believed we had to fight it and we did. Thefirst few months were the hardest, but eventually got better with time. It did put an undesirable smear which we might have to pull out for a long period of time ahead, but we’re tremendously thankful for we could survive this, until now.

This pandemic has been distressing but we have faith in there’s always light at the end of the tunnel and we will all come out of this stronger. A wholesome thankfulness to our staff members for their immense enthusiasm and hard work during this time of crisis. Special thanks to all our customers who have shown their support for us and helped us support the families which were involved with Emerald Restaurants.
