Biman Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) AM Mosaddique Ahmed inaugurated the services at a ceremony at Biman’s headquarters “Balaka” on Tuesday, said an official release on Wednesday. Under the scheme, travellers would get special discount on the renowned hospitals in India, Thailand and Malaysia while lowest rate booking at 350,000 hotels of different countries and all hotels in Bangladesh. Travellers also could avail ticket and holiday packages from the biman holiday wing with bank EMI facilities. Anyone can book these packages at Tk999 which is also refundable. The country’s six leading banks would offer the EMI for ticket and holiday packages. On the other hand, underage single traveller and senior citizens would get special assistance. Passengers under packages would also enjoy mobile SIM card, recharge facilities and baggage lost-and-found facilities as the one-stop service. Moreover, a passenger after buying ticket from Biman Holidays would get pick-up and drop from home to airport as per requirement as well as “meet and assistance” service by dedicated staff members upon arrival at the airport. They would also enjoy holiday lounge’s food and beverage. In addition, all the passengers under the programme would get visa processing assistance.
