A total of 226 fresh dengue cases were reported across the country in the last 24 hours till Tuesday morning.
Of them, 211 were infected with the Dengue in Dhaka, a release of the Health Crisis Management and Control Room of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) said on Tuesday.
So far, 18 suspected deaths by dengue were reported to the Institute of Epidemiology Disease Control and Research (IEDCR), but none of them has been reviewed and confirmed yet, said the DGHS.

With the new development, some 915 dengue patients have been undergoing treatment at different hospitals and clinics across the country.
Among them, 852 patients are taking treatment in Dhaka division, the release added.
Since January, a total of 4,979 patients have been admitted to different hospitals across the country. Of them, 4,046 patients have returned home after recovery, DGHS said.
