Praava Health founder: Will resume service as soon as possible

Sylvana Q Sinha, the founder and CEO of Praava Healthcare Centre, has said that they will resume their services as soon as possible following the decision from the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) to temporarily suspend all their activities.

She made the statement through a personal video message on Praava Health’s Facebook page on Wednesday night.

In the message, Sinha said she founded Praava Health on the belief that all Bangladeshis deserve world-class quality healthcare services, grounded in dignity, care, and empathy.

Driven by this belief and aspiration, they have served over 200,000 patients in Bangladesh since their inception in 2017, she said.

Praava has at all times focused on compliance with the guidelines and policy directives issued by the DGHS and international standards of clinical quality, Sinha stressed.

DGHS decided to temporarily close the private healthcare organization on August 2 due to alleged anomalies and complaints including providing faulty reports.

Throughout, Praava proactively is complying with all guidance provided by DGHS, Sinha said.

“We hope to resolve the situation as soon as possible so that we can resume serving you, our valued Patients, during the greatest public health crisis of our lifetimes,” she said.

“We are rallied and genuinely touched by the patients who have publicly expressed support of us on social media and have reached out to us through our call centre and other channels in solidarity,” she added.
