No major health complications yet, JaPa official says
Jatiya Party (JaPa) Secretary General Ziauddin Ahmed Bablu has been admitted to a Dhaka hospital with Covid-19.
He was admitted to Labaid Specialised Hospital in Dhanmondi on Monday evening, JaPa Chairman's Deputy Press Secretary Khandaker Deloar Jalali told UNB on Tuesday.
He said Bablu had taken a Covid test earlier in the day and the result came out positive.
Jalali said the physical condition of the JaPa leader was good and there were no major complications yet.
He added that JaPa Chairman GM Quader had urged all to pray for Bablu’s speedy recovery.
Party sources said Bablu recently took part in electioneering in favour of the JaPa candidate in the Sylhet-3 by-election held on September 4.
He fell ill after his return to Dhaka from Sylhet and then took the Covid test.
