When asked why people would opt for their products when there are hundreds of other Facebook pages offering saris and bed sheets, she said that they are also catering to a specific need of the buyers, besides high-quality products. “From the name of our business, you can derive that we aim to fulfill your need of giving gifts to your loved ones; so all of our products come inside designer package boxes, exclusively designed by us. That’s the unique selling point (USP) of Gift Hamper’s BD.” Papya’s husband, Asruf Ul Jubair, a business development manager of a software company said that a good package is a very important part of a gift. “Just think how sweet shops like Premium Sweets and Meena Sweets have changed the packaging culture of sweets. Their sweets taste good of course but their USP is their beautiful packaging.” With that in mind, Jubair, an award winning business development manager came up with the idea of packaging products like sarees and bedsheets inside a beautiful designer box. “We have started with these two products and we have already gotten very good responses from the customers. We will come up with new product lines very soon and of course with new packaging for those.” Papya said that their products are not just meant as gifts. “You can buy it for yourself as well, and it'll come inside our designer box!” she smiled.
