With Eid just around the corner, Oomph Bangladesh Events and Entertainment has put together an exquisite fair to celebrate the festivities of Eid. Oomph is an entertainment agency that prides itself on offering events that begin with passion and end with a profound impact on the renewal of society from everyday life. After astounding success in their events, which includes performances by internationally renowned artists like Diplo, their compassion motivated them to give back to the society. Hence, they took the initiative of organizing an Eid Festivity Fair.
The Eid Festivity Fair took place at the Gulshan North Club on July 1 and presented several local artists and artisans like Mother Pearl, Momo Jamdani Saree, Aadi Lohakara, Junk Studio, Mukta and Fashion Bari Exclusive. A plethora of different products was available at the scene – from traditional epitomes like rickshaw art by One Culture to the uniquely rustic, eco-friendly jewellery by Aadi Lohakara juxtaposed against the chic but practical journals offered by Junk Studio. The fair also showcased wallets, fashion accessories, jamdani saris, shawls and pottery.
Even though the day had dismal weather with sporadic drizzle, the enthusiasm of the visitors and retailers kept the fair alive. As the day progressed, the hubbub of the crowd grew simultaneously. With the gradual saturation of the crowd, the list of people contributing to the cause increased. The pleasant social dynamic of the event - between the artists and visitors - coupled with the display of great products, resulted in a sublime ambience.
Remaining true to the fundamental essence of Ramadan, Oomph has framed this fair with the sole purpose of giving back to the community. Oomph aims to channel the proceeds from the event to the Lions Club of Dhaka Orchid Primary School.
