We are dancing to God’s tune, thinking this is our music
Sitting in the car, you suddenly realize that people around you are suffering way more than you are in every way.
Many are selling pens, flowers, just to make ends meet, and you are sitting in the comfort of the car, abusing the life you are getting every day.
Why is life behind the window shade so different? Why are people crying and killing themselves every day for just one day’s meal, and why are you throwing away food because you think that eating too much will make you look unfit?
Sad is the fate of a nation when this thing happens.
Have we ever questioned ourselves?
Why is this happening?
Why are so many people dying because food is scarce for one group, and for others it’s just to show off your status?
Probably God is not at all unjust when you think that the so-called rich society can’t even eat properly. The remaining food that can make you feel better is mixed with a poison called formalin, carbide, and so many other beautiful names.
Yes, God has his own way of balancing out the equation.
We think that we have the world in our own hands with money and power, but come to think of it, we are helpless. We can’t do anything. We can’t eat food that has been dished out in front of us on the table.
So unfortunate are we that we can’t or don’t do anything with our lives as it passes and whizzes around us like a kite flying in the sky. However you try, it takes its own path.
Let us rewind the life that we had, and think about how it has panned out for us. Whether life was something that was full of knowledge or whether life was spent thinking about the knowledge that we have been thirsting for. A question that may have answers beyond imagination.
Can we pinpoint the time when we were conceived and can we pinpoint the time when we will die?
Not at all. God with his strings is making us dance to his tunes and we are dancing, thinking that this is our music.
Hope, the quintessential thing that keeps us alive, also makes us feel vulnerable and stupid. Love, hope, family, life, all in one quota makes us feel impenetrable, indestructible.
Well, God must be smiling at us, thinking about all the futile attempts that we make every day to make our lives better.
He knows when to cut off the strings so that dolls can’t move, and however hard we try with our latest developments and procedures, we won’t be able to move that doll even an inch.
Why is the shade of mirror so dark for us, why can’t we see what’s happening on the other side? Even the most powerful beam of light can’t penetrate that dark shade.
We are forever trapped on one side with no light, and the light that we can see is nothing but an illusion.
