The Aurthohin frontman Saidus Salehin Khaled Sumon, better known as Bassbaba or Sumon, was seriously injured in a road accident last month in Sukhumvit, Thailand when a microbus hit him from behind while he was trying to cross the road.
The singer-musician was rushed to a nearby hospital where he had to go through an 11 hour surgery. His face was seriously damaged in the accident.
Sumon went to Thailand for a health check-up, and he had a minor surgery at Samitivej Sukhumvit Hospital that day. The accident took place while he was returning to his hotel from the hospital.
Although the incident took place in June, the news only surfaced when Sumon himself shared the incident with Bangla Tribune.
Sumon's condition is improving but it will take another month for a full recovery. He might need to undergo more surgeries after further check-up.
