Widely popular Bangladeshi band Shironamhin’s lead vocal Tanzir Tuhin has parted ways with the band on October 6. Tuhin’s decision emerged from the internal conflict over performing onstage when he was admitted in hospital due to health reasons.
Tuhin informed to a source that he had been admitted in National Heart Foundation for a block in his coronary arterie. Doctors decided that he did not require any operation hence medicine will suffice. However, the band ‘Shironamhin’ decided to perform with a new vocal Ishtiaq instead of Tuhin, while he was in the hospital. This incident has led to the breakup of the band.

‘Shironamhin’ was formed in 1996 from a small group of BUET students and from that time Tuhin has been the lead vocalist of this popular band. The vocal informed press that he has decided to leave the band because he felt that his fellow members preferred money over their friendship. Tuhin also said that it wouldn’t have harmed the band if they did not performed any show for only a month.
Over his decision, Tuhin has said that most of the songs by ‘Shironamhin’ is actually his creation. After this incident, he does not want the band to perform any song that is originally his. Tuhin has also decided to send legal notice to all corporations and expects their help to prevent them from using his songs.
About his plans for music in future, Tuhin informed that he will continue his journey as a musician as soon as he recovers.
