
Miss India, Manushi Chillar has become the sixth Indian to be crowned Miss World. The 20-year-old will is brings the crown back to India after 17 years. The last Indian who bagged the title was Priyanka Chopra, back in 2000.
Manushi, a medical student couldn't believe herself when her name was announced and reacted with extreme joy. Her family, in the audience, couldn't hold back their excitement as well.

Manushi, won both the Head to Head challenge and the Beauty with a Purpose segment of the Miss World competition and impressed the judges with her final answer in the grand finale.
When asked, which profession in the world deserves the highest salary and why, she replied: "My mother has been my biggest inspiration, so I have to say, a mother's job. It is not always about cash, but love and respect as well. A mother deserves that the most."

While Manushi was crowned Miss World, Miss Mexico was crowned the first Runner's Up and Miss England became the Second Runner's Up.
The 67th edition of the Miss World pageant was held on Saturday (November 18) at the Sanya City Arena in Sanya, China, where India's Manushi Chhillar received the crown from the current Miss World (Stephanie Del Valle of Puerto Rico).
