Almost all the movies that made it big in the box office this year again were sequels, reboots or remakes. With “Beauty and the Beast,” “The Fate of the Furious” and “Despicable Me 3” grossing over $1 billion worldwide, it looks like the age of movie franchises is here to stay. The list will definitely change by the end of next week with “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” lurking at the 14th position just after one weekend at the box office. According to boxofficemojo, here are the 10 biggest blockbusters of 2017.
