IPL is not only a league of cricketers but also a business for Bollywood stars. This year the show was stolen by Juhi's daughter Jahnavi Mehta who debuted at the auction table as the youngest member at Indian Premier League players' auction in Bengaluru on January 28
17-year-old Jhanvi Mehta raised the paddle in the Kolkata Knight Riders table. The daughter of actor Juhi Chawla and producer Jay Mehta, co-owners of KKR, often leans in to catch the strategy talk by franchise officials before raising the paddle.
Jahnavi Mehta is currently studying at London's Charter House after completing her education from Mumbai's Dhirubhai Ambani International School.
Proud mother Juhi Chawla posted a picture of Jhanvi from the auction.
Juhi co-owns Kolkata Knight Riders along with husband Jay Mehta, and actor Shah Rukh Khan while Preity Zinta represents Kings XI Punjab with businessman Ness Wadia.
"It’s awesome to meet the super smart Janvi Mehta," Preity posted on Twitter along with a picture with Juhi's daughter.
IPL commences on April 4 in Mumbai and will conclude on May 31.
