On January 20, 2001, Asif Akbar released his album “O Priya Tumi Kothay.” Released under the banner of Soundtek, the album went on to be one of the most successful studio albums in the history of Bangla music.
After collaborating for a few more ventures with the audio production house afterwards, the celebrated singer took almost 10 long years to come under the banner of Soundtek again.
Tagging his return as a 'return to home,' Sultan Mahmud Babul, the kingpin of the production house informed that Asif has released a brand new duet song with Kona titled “Muche Debo Kanna Tomar.”
The music video of the song, released on the occasion of the Valentine's Day, is now available on the YouTube channel of Soundtek.
Lyrics of the song have been penned by Ahmed Rizvi. Mushfique Litu has composed the song with Nazir Mahmud's tune.
Directed by Soikot Reza, the music video of “Muche Debo Kanna Tomar” features Asif and Tania Brishti.
After its revival in 2016, Soundtek has been taking new measures everyday to take back their position in the new market and Asif Akbar's return to the banner is a great step forward, Soundtek stated in a press release.
