The news of the demise of legendary Bollywood actor Sridevi has left the entertainment fraternity around the world in a deep state of shock.
After the circulation of the news, celebrities from different corners of the world joined in commemorating the ageless beauty. A number of Dhallywood celebrities also mourned her death.
Prominent actor Jaya Ahsan wrote on her Facebook, “Gone too soon. RIP queen of Bollywood.”
Wishing her soul to rest in eternal peace, veteran actor Suborna Mustafa wrote, “Sridevi... A performer extraordinaire...An untimely demise...”
Sharing the widely popular song “Aye Zindagi Gale Lagaa Le” from Sridevi's movie “Ilayaraaja,” director Amitabh Reza Chowdhury wrote, “Let the artist live through her works.”

Reminiscing her memories with the legendary actor, singer Runa Laila said, “It was an untimely demise. The news of her death left me in deep shock. She was a brilliant actor by all means, whose dance skills was also extraordinary.”
The famous singer, who also has a large fandom in India, added, “As a person, Sridevi was wonderful. It takes me back to a long time ago when I met her first in London, where she was working opposite Salman Khan in ‘Chand Ka Tukra.’”
“I met her again six years ago at a dinner party held in a restaurant owned by Asha Bhosle in Dubai. We had a long chat. She praised my songs,” Runa Laila reminisces.
Director Fakhrul Arefeen Khan wrote, “My love and respect will follow you, wherever you go.”
