
Seventh grade student Atiqa Rahman Momo received the Best Child Artist award at an event at Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy on May 3 organised by Banglar Sangeet for her music video titled “Rohingya”, which was released on BaznaBD's official YouTube channel at the end of last year. Momo received the award from finance ministry's additional secretary and popular actor Pirjada Harun Ur Rashid.
After receiving the award Momo told the press: “Every award I have received is an acceptance of my work. Bangla Sangeet's award is an honour for me and I thank the people who have graced me with it. I ask for everyone’s best wishes so that I can sing more great songs in the future.”

The track was penned by Gazi Mazharul Anwar and composed and tuned by Kislu Ahmed. Atikur Rahman directed the music video.
Momo first came into the spotlight in 2013 when she sang a patriotic song “Shono Shono Bangladesh.”In a short period, she has already sung the words of famous lyricists and musicians of the nation including- Maniruzzaman Munir, Gazi Mazharul Anwar, Farid Ahmed, Ahmed Kislu and Ali Hossain. She already models in her own tracks' music videos with Dhallywood stars like Omar Sani, Badhon, Riaj, Amin Khan and many more. She can also be seen playing different roles in many TV dramas, commercials and feature length films.
