Bibekananda Theatre’s 'Bisharjan' will be staged on 7pm on Thursday and the festival will end with Sanskar Natyadal’s 'Boshikoron' on Friday evening
Sharodiya Natyatsab has started at Ganga Sagar Dighi Paar’s Borodesshori Kali Mata Mandir premises in Rajarbag, Dhaka with the beginning of Sharadiya Durga Puja, one of the biggest religious festivals observed by the Hindu community, from Monday. The drama festival will run five days upto Friday holding the slogan - “Women empowerment will advance our civilization.”
On the first day, Abdullah Al Mamun’s “Meraj Fakirer Ma,” starring veteran actor Ferdousi Mazumder, was staged at the festival. On Tuesday Desh Opera will stage their Jatrapala “Soti Koruna Moyi.” Two plays will be staged on Wednesday- Dhaka Nandanik’s production “Norbore Bou” at 7pm and Swapnadal’s play “Chitrangada” on 9pm.

Borodesshori Kali Mata Mandir has been organizing this drama festival on Durga Puja season since 1995.
