The celebrity couples, Deepika Padukone-Ranveer Singh and Priyanka Chopra-Nick Jonas have both announced wedding dates to the media. The problem is that the dates may very well clash with each other, as Priyanka-Nick had already announced December 2 as their wedding date, and Deepika-Ranveer will have an additional wedding ceremony on December 1.
The Times Of India reports that Priyanka-Nick’s wedding festivities will begin from November 30. Whereas, a Filmfare report states that Deepika and Ranveer have decided on the date December 1, to host their wedding reception at Mumbai’s Grand Hyatt.
The date for the Mumbai reception was announced on the internet, after it was already revealed that Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh will host two separate reception parties - one in Bengaluru, which is Deepika's hometown and the other in Mumbai, where Ranveer is settled.
Reportedly, the dates of Deepika and Ranveer's actual wedding dates are November 14 and November 15, and to be held at Italy’s Lake Como, where only friends and close-friends, including Arjun Kapoor and Sanjay Leela Bhansali, will be in attendance.
This announcement was made on Sunday joint-statement from the Padukones and Bhavnanis: "With the blessings of our families, it gives us immense joy in sharing that our wedding is set to take place on the 14th and 15th November, 2018. We thank you for all the love you have showered upon us over the years and seek your blessings as we embark on this incredible journey of love, loyalty friendship and togetherness."
The filmfare report stated "Soon after they return from Italy, Ranveer and Deepika will be hosting a lavish wedding reception for all their industry friends in Mumbai on December 1. Grand Hyatt has been picked as the reception venue and everyone from Bollywood is expected to be present."
On the other hand, the speculations are such, that Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas will have a destination wedding in Jodhpur's Umaid Bhavan palace. According to reports, Priyanka and Nick have decided on a guest list of just 200 guests comprising of only family and close acquaintances. The actor's bridal shower will be at her “second home” in New York with her Hollywood friends in attendance.
