‘Debi’ to be screened in the Middle East

The distributing company picked the theatres in Bangladeshi dominant areas. Fans can watch the film on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays

Great news for Jaya Ahsan’s expatriate fans who live in the Middle East. “Debi” will be released in there later this month. 

The film will be released at 16 theatres in the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Oman from February 21.

Media Maze, sole distributor of Bangla films in the Middle East, has confirmed the news to the media. It also announced the news on their official Facebook page. 

“Debi” will be screened at Al-Law Mall in Al Qaeda City, in the UAE, Vox Dera City Centre in Dubai, Novo Dragon Mart 2, Sharjah Novo Mega Mall, VoX Sharjah City Centre, and VoX Sharjah City Centre in Abu Dhabi. 

The film will also be shown at City of Rui City, Salalah City Cinema, Sohar City Cinema, Surar City Cinema and Manama Town in Bahrain.

To pay tribute to the language martyrs, Media Maze decided to release the popular film in the Middle East on International Mother Language Day. 

Directed by Anam Biswas, the film's cast includes Jaya Ahsan, Chanchal Chowdhury, Shabnam Faria, Animesh Aich, Iresh Zaker and others. The film is based on Humayun Ahmed’s book of the same name from the Misir Ali series.
