“Arnob Unplugged 2019,” organized by event management company Xirconium, was a great success as the audience, both from home and West Bengal, poured in to the auditorium to witness the soulful performance of this versatile singer.
Arnob started the show by capturing the mood of Falgun with the song 'Phagun Haway Haway.'
After thanking everyone for making it to the show, Arnob requested the audience to sing along with him and played songs based on their choice.
For the next three hours, the crowd was hypnotized by the singer’s gifted voice as he proceeded to perform songs like ‘Hariye Giyechi,’ ‘Tomar Jonno,’ ‘Majhe Majhe Tobo Dekha Pai,’ ‘Shonar Moyna Pakhi,’ ‘Bakshe Bakshe,’ ‘Tui Ki Janish Na,’ ‘Rastay,’ ‘Naam chilona’and ‘Sona diya bandhayachi ghor.’
Arnob then took a small break to communicate with the zealous audience. He talked about his upcoming album where he will be experimenting with instruments like the clarinet and present Rabindra Sangeet in a different way.
The musician introduced a fresh talent, one of his friends from Shantiniketan, and both of them performed a Tagore song together named ‘Bondhu Roho Sathe’ from Arnob’s new album.
The melodious night came to an end with Arnob playing his most favorite number till now, ‘She je boshe ache.’
Media personalities like Amitabh Reza Chowdhury, Sharmin Nahar Lucky, and singer Krishnokoli also attended the program.
Arnob, being one of the most loved singer-musicians of this generation, returned after a two year break from mainstream music and the wait was worth every bit of it.
