Shakib’s flashy action scenes and poorly-written dialogues are the only things included in the trailer
Dhallywood superstar Shakib Khan’s hyped film “Password” released a cliché trailer on his official YouTube channel on Wednesday.
The film, produced by Shakib’s production company SK Films, created massive buzz on social media after its poster was released on May 11. Bangladeshi social media was flooded with the digital art poster and fans started speculating that the film would be this year's biggest hit.
Yet the trailer of the film shows no such promise. Shakib’s flashy action scenes and poorly-written dialogues are the only things included in the trailer.
According to the three-minute-long trailer, the film’s plot revolves around a password for a bank account and the villains desperately want it from the protagonist, Shakib.
The film, directed by Malek Afsary, will feature Shabnom Bubly alongside Shakib. Dhallywood A-listers including Emon, Misha Shawdagar, Amit Hasan, Don, and many others, will also play major roles in the action thriller.
The film, which received an uncut censor from Bangladesh Film Censor Board on May 26, will hit the Bangladesh's theatres this Eid-ul-Fitr.
Moreover, Shakib was widely trolled online when he made a statement during the film’s promotion. He said: “As I am a film buff and have a doctorate on the topic I can make an international standard-film stranded in Sunderban.” Netizens of the country picked up the statement and trolled the Dhallywood star.
