Shohojia releases a surreal music video, dedicated to the refugee children

Alternative indie band, Shohojiya released a surreal music video of their song, Chhoto Pakhi. The music video was released on July 19, on the band’s official YouTube channel. Since the release, the video has received widespread acclamations amongst music lovers.

Directed by Wahid Tarek, the music video portrays the destruction caused by wars, and the struggles of the refugee children. 

Adnan Habib was the executive producer, while the music was produced by Loghu Guru, supported by FrameWork. 

Shohag Chowdhuruy worked as a cinematographer on the project. 

Talking about the music video, Raju, lyricist and vocalist of the band, told the Dhaka Tribune’s Showtime: “All credit behind the music video goes to the director, Wahid Tarek, he really incorporated our ideas visually.

“We dedicated our album to the refugee children from all over the world, who are suffering, and are victims of the wars. 

Shohojia describes their music as concretion music because they focus on  exploring the music, and concentrate on the spirituality of it. 

Current line-up of the band consists of Ani on bass, Mehedi on drums, Shajib and Shimul on guitars, and Raju on vocals.
