Tisha and Yash Rohan’s Mayaboti gets a release date

Director Arun Chowdhury’s upcoming film, Mayaboti is set to be released nationwide on September 13.  The film received an uncut censor certificate from the Bangladesh Film Censor Board in June. 

The story of the film revolves around Maya, a girl who is stolen from her mother at a very young age. Maya ends up in the Daulatdia Ghat red light district where a barrister falls in love with her, but new problems arise when she gets involved in a brutal murder.   

Actor Yash Rohan who is known for his role in Swapnajaal, will be seen in the film alongside Tisha. The film features popular actor Nusrat Imrose Tisha as the protagonist, who is playing the lead role in a film for the first time. 

The cast of the film also includes Mamunur Rashid, Raisul Islam Asad, Dilara Zaman, Aruna Biswas, and singer Agun, among others. 

This is director Arun Chowdhury’s second feature film. Last year he debuted as a film-maker with Altabanu.

The film has been jointly produced by Anowar Azad films and Annono Sristy Vision. Jaaz Multimedia is the distributor of the film.
