Dhaka Youth Fest highlights young achievers

The festival also featured an exhibition highlighting 20 successful young achievers including photojournalist Ponir Hossain, screenwriter and film critic Sadia Khalid Reeti, footballer Maria Manda, and travellers Manoshi Saha, and Sakia Haque, among others

A daylong event titled, Dhaka Youth Fest featured the spirit of youth, and highlighted the young achievers from different professions. Organized by Positive Bangladesh, the event was held at EMK centre in Dhanmondi on Sunday. 

The festival kicked off with a panel discussion session featuring Iresh Zaker, BeatBaksho, Sakia Haque, and Shazeeb M Khairul Islam as panelists while the second panel discussion began around 1:00pm which had Nasreen Sultana Mitu, Karishma Sanu Sovvota, and Swagata Phyx as speakers.  

The last and fourth panel session of the day was addressed by Ashfaque Nipun, Mohammad Rakibul Hasan, and Sakib Bin Rashid. 

There were open mic sessions in between the panel discussions. Youngsters could use the opportunity to showcase their talents in front of the audience availing the open mic sessions. 

Representatives from various organizations, and youth platforms including EMK MakerLab, Kishor Alo, Quizards, CareerKi, and Shunte Ki Pao? were present all day long to interact, and share opportunities with the young individuals.
