The Greatest Showmen was staged at the STM Hall of Scholastica Senior Campus in Mirpur on Thursday, and Friday.

The annual play of the school is adapted from the movie, The Greatest Showman. It was directed by Sunny Ghosh, Faculty Member, Drama and Media Studies.

Professor Rahmat Ali, Theatre and Performance Studies, Dhaka University, and Dr Shoma Mumtaz, Associate Professor, Department of Drama and Dramatics, Jahangirnagar University, graced the occasion as Chief Guests.

Nurun Nahar Mozumder, Head of Section, and Sabina Mustafa, Head of Academics, Scholastica Mirpur Campus welcomed the guests with their opening speech.

The main characters of the drama are PT Barnum, Charity, and Jenny Lind.

Cast of the play included: Abid-Al-Zubayer, Eram Ashrafi Bari Nodi, Suhana Sabrin Khan, and Azmeeha Mobin respectively.

Audience members, including the chief guests, parents, and guardians, were enthralled by the brilliant performance of the actors, dancers, and singers. They highly praised the performers for their excellent vocal skills which complemented the theme of the play.
