Update : 01 Dec 2019, 03:02 AM

Bangladesh's first surfing film No Dorai (Dare to Surf) has rolled out a 50% cash back offer. The announcement came from Star Cineplex Chairman and the film’s producer Mahboob Rahman during the film’s grand premiere held at capital’s Star Cineplex in Bashundhara City shopping mall on Thursday.

Mahboob said that Bangladeshi digital payment service Bkash users can avail this lucrative 50% cashback offer if they buy the film tickets at any of the three Star Cineplex branches and pay through the Bkash app.
The offer is only available if the tickets are bought at Star Cineplex counters.

The film is running successfully in eight theatres across the country despite receiving mixed reviews.
No Dorai, which means "not afraid" in Chittagonian dialect, features actor Shariful Razz and model Sunerah Binte Kamal in the lead roles.

The nation wide hyped film was directed by Taneem Rahman Angshu, and shot by cinematographer Suman Sarker. Popular Bangladeshi singer Xefer Rahman served as its executive producer.

The debut production of Star Cineplex, which got the final approval of the Bangladesh Film Censor Board (BFCB) just a few days before its premiere, also spun off a comic book, titled Adventure of Ayesha, illustrated by Cartoon People.

The comic will be available at all the branches of Star Cineplex and some will be distributed to girls of various rural areas.
