Nijeke Harabar Bhoy - Shishir ft Rafa: A treat for the music lovers

If you grew up listening to Aurthohin in your adolescence and miss the old days and music, then the recently released song Nijeke Harabar Bhoy - Shishir ft Rafa is the treat you have been waiting for so long. 

Official music video of the song was released on YouTube on Thursday, and the song has mesmerized the music lovers of different ages since then.  

The stunning music video complements the song. Colour tone and cinematography of the video, makes it great, and makes the viewers want to watch till the end. 

The original song produced by Shishir, while the lyrics was written by Bakhtiar Hossain. The song was mixed by Shishir himself, while Rafa did the mastering. Lyrics and composition of the song are very captivating and reminds the listeners of the old days of Aurthohin. 

Cast of the video includes Baizid Haque Joarder, and Rudmeela Nawsheen. 

Based on Shishir’s story, the video was directed by Shishir Ahmed, Ahmed Hasan and Baizid Haque. 

Baizid Haque Joarder told the Dhaka Tribune Showtime: “It took me a second to get on board after Shishir Bhai hunted me down, quite literally (chuckles). It's always an honour to work with heroes from your childhood band. Thanks to Shishir Bhai for having faith in me and allowing me to co-direct this awesome collaboration (and mini Aurthohin reunion). Much love for Ahmed Hasan Baki, our cinematographer for being an absolute trooper.”

Shishir told the Dhaka Tribune Showtime: “This is the start of my solo music project. I wanted this video to be unique and cinematic, which captures the essence of the song. Baizid who played lead character did an amazing job as an actor and Ahmed Hasan did a fantastic job with the cinematography.  Along with Baizid and Ahmed’s direction this was also my first time being involved in the video making process as a producer and director. This video did justice to my song and will always remain close to my heart.”

In this song, many of Rafa’s fans out there might find his vocal just as amazing as it was in Kadbe Bisshoye.
