The official teaser trailer of Jaaz Multimedia's horror film Jinn got released on February 10. The film itself will be released on March 13.
Jinn stars Shajal, Pujja, Roshan, and Moon in the leading roles.
The 50 second teaser starts off with a scene where a violet candle is lit. The scene is immediately followed by another where an exorcism is being conducted upon a pentagram. A narrator says in the background: "When Science reaches its limits, religion gives the answers."
The teaser goes on to show many elements that are usually found in horror films, such as, an old abandoned mansion, religious clerics blowing smoke, cobwebby doors, demonic faces, and cornea-less eyes. There is also scary laughter and frightening cries from unseen terror.
The teaser features liberal doses of jump scares.
The story for the film was given by Abdul Aziz and Abdullah Zohir Babu. The screenplay and dialogue were also written by Abdul Aziz.
The cinematography was by Saiful Shaheen, and editing was by Md Kalam. The film was directed by Nader Chowdhury.
