The films will be screened in 15 different cities of India
The 4th Bangladesh Film Festival, organized by the Federation of Film Societies of India (eastern region), is going to be held at Nandan West Bengal Film Centre in Kolkata from February 21-22.
In total, four contemporary Bangladeshi films will be screened at the festival.
The two day festival will feature screenings of Fagun Haway by Tauquir Ahmed, Komola Rocket by Noor Imran, Alpha by Nasiruddin Yousuff, and the anthology film Iti, Tomari Dhaka by eleven various directors.
Abu Shahed Emon is the curator of the films, which will be screened in 15 different cities of India.
There will also be a session in which Tanvir Mokammel will be felicitated by Kamaleswar Mukharjee.
In order to promote contemporary Bangladeshi films with an Indian audience, the Federation of Film Societies of India is organizing this festival for the fourth time.
