Legendary Indian actor Dilip Kumar has said that he is under "complete isolation and quarantine" as a preventive measure against coronavirus (COVID-19).
He shared a health update on Twitter on Monday, saying that his wife, Saira Banu, was helping him ensure that he did not get infected.

Kumar then asked his fans and followers to stay indoors as much as possible in order to minimize the chance of getting infected by COVID-19.

Earlier in the month, Saira Banu revealed that Kumar was recovering from a "severe backache".
She said they had consulted doctors at the Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai, and that the actor was doing better.
Dilip Kumar, 97, has been acclaimed by critics as one of the greatest actors in the history of Indian Cinema.
